Nanometer SiO2 (dope)

Nanometer silicon dioxide can improve the re-attrite, intensity, rigidity of paint effectively. Adding some nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) in dope, the anti-aging capabilities of dope can improve from 250 hours to 600 hours, its re-attrite capability can also increase more than ten times, drying time can shorten greatly. The problem of its stability and thixotropy can be solved well, can effectively stop the movement of dope formed thick edge, the auto-cleaning of the surface and adhering capability can also be improved effectively. The dope containing nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) have good anti-pollute capability and easy to construct.

The applied characteristic of nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) in dope:

1.      Be able to bear rinse: the anti-rinse capability can be increased from thousands times to ten thousands times.

2.      Resist to ultraviolet radiation: the anti-aging capabilities can improve about three times when we add some nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) in dope.

3.      Anti-pollute and auto-cleaning capability: some researches have indicated that the anti-pollute and auto-cleaning capability of paint can be improved obviously after adding nanometer silicon dioxide in dope.

4.      Anti-fungus function: the surface of dope has good anti-fungus function when we add more than 0.5% of nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T).

5.      Hydrophobic and antiseptic property: to add some nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) in dope can improve the adsorbent and antiseptic property of the dope. The paint also has high compact property and can prevent ion to infiltrate effectively.

6.      Transparent property: nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) can improve the transparent property of nano-dope.

7.      Rigidity: organic material can be improved as a rigid chain when nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) particle disperse in it equably.

8.      Hot stability: in UV solidify dope nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) can improve the vitrifying temperature of gel.

9.      Viscosity: nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) can improve the viscosity of dope obviously.

Dosage:

Some experiences have proved that the rigidity, adsorbent, hot stability and anti- depositing property of dope can be improved well when we add 2% nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T).So the propositional dosage of nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) is 0.5-2%.But some special products may add more than 10%,you should adjust the additive percent according to your system.

 

The method of use:

We can use several methods to disperse nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T), such as mill, cutting with high speed, ball-grind, ultrasonic and so on. The most popular and economic method is cutting with high speed .There are two ways to add nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) in paint by this method.

1.      One step method: adding nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) in the material directly. This method is very simple and appropriate to the large quantities and single productions.

2.      Two steps method: firstly, to prepare base liquid of nanometer silicon dioxide (VK-SP30T) dispersed in material with high percent. Then add base liquid to material system. Two steps method is suit for various productions.
